Ivic Oliver High Performance Tennis is located in San Antonio, Texas and is lead by head coaches Leonard (Leo) Ivic and William (Will) Oliver.
Our program provides advanced instruction and coaching; focusing specifically on the following:

Owner + Head Coach
A native of Split, Croatia, Leonard Ivic was among his country's top junior tennis players by age 18. Ivic then crossed the pond to attend university and focus on his athletic and academic careers.
While playing for the Croatian National Team, Ivic won the European Junior Davis Cup tournament.
After many great accomplishments Leonard wanted to focus on an education and continue his athletic and academic career. After a year playing for Laredo Community College, Ivic transferred to University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, where he played in the No. 1 position for the team.
Ivic accomplished many victories throughout his time in college and graduated with a degree in International Business, Marketing along with a minor in Kinesiology from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas.
In his tennis career Ivic has trained many young professional athletes in Croatia, Serbia, and Germany. He has supported them through high ranked National and European (ETA, ITF) tournaments. Leonard enjoys working with and coaching the many young tennis stars that originate from San Antonio and the surrounding areas.
Owner + Head Coach
A former elite tennis player on the junior and collegiate circuit, Will Oliver, co-founder of Ivic Oliver Tennis Academy, has the unique ability to leverage his years of competitive experience and player wisdom on behalf of his student athletes. Known as both a power singles and doubles player, Oliver was a champion junior and high school athlete -- Maintaining a top 5 Texas section ranking in 14s, 16s, and 18s as well as earning the Number 1 USTA National ranking in Boys 16 Doubles.
At 16, Will started traveling the International circuit and among other achievements, he became the 2008 Spenco ITF Doubles Champion. Shortly after, he was sidelined for 7 months following a knee injury. Despite the setback of a knee injury, Will continued to climb up the rankings and was recruited to the University of Georgia, the top-ranked division one school in the nation.
Throughout his time at Georgia, the Bulldogs won 4 SEC Titles and made 3 Final Four appearances in the NCAA Tournament. Will proudly served as the Team Captain, was selected for the SEC Community Service Award and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
In his post-collegiate career, Oliver has focused on training and mentoring the next generation of elite tennis stars. He has coached multiple players, helping them climb to the top of the Texas rankings and win multiple Texas Grand Slam and National titles. Will has also developed younger players, helping them progress from the Challenger Level all the way to the Super Champ Level.
Coach Will focuses on the importance of efficiency in stroke production and biomechanics for optimal output and injury prevention.
